Valentine's Photoshoot
I was recently invited to take a series of photographs for Valentine's day by Essentially Floral, a well known company based in Derby and London. The original venue was to be Calke Abbey in Derbyshire, with possible outdoor shots but this was changed at the last minute due to the arrival of Storm Ciara last Sunday. The new venue was Norton Fields, Atherstone which is set on a working arable farm. The converted farm building provide a rustic setting as a venue for weddings and special occasions.
The theme was "noir", which was just as well because I took very little in the way of lighting and really wanted to use natural light where possible. As it turned out, the bar area lent itself to some moody shots using only the overhead lights and table lamps.
