NEMPF Annual Exhibition 2020 Acceptances

Updated: Jan 31, 2022

This year has been very interesting and quite remarkable for me in terms of my photography.

In January I joined Nottingham and Notts. Photographic Society and a short time later entered my very first club competition. We were then thrown into COVID lockdown but thanks to the forward-thinking club committee we continued weekly meetings online via Zoom. A second club competition followed by the internal annual exhibition and the Laurie Bourne Trophy ended the season. I have published my results in earlier blog posts.

The new club season started in September and I was encouraged to enter the Annual Exhibition competition for the North and East Midlands Photographic Federation (NEMPF) which comprises 53 photographic clubs/societies primarily from Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Lincolnshire.

I entered three colour images and one mono. The results have just been announced and I am really pleased to say that three of my four images have been accepted into the exhibition. Apparently, acceptances are hard to come by and there were around 2600 images entered so I am particularly delighted with the result. Many thanks go to NNPS for their support and encouragement.

Here are the images that were accepted:-
